I am currently Research Associate at the Martin-Luther Universität Halle-Wittenberg in Germany. Previously I have been an Assistant Professor at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada and a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada in early 2016. My research focuses on eighteenth-century German and Scottish moral philosophy, especially Kant, Francis Hutcheson, and Adam Smith. I'm also interested in contemporary moral, political, and legal philosophy, as well as the philosophy of food.
