During the 2018-19 academic year I will be an Assistant Professor at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Before that I was a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada in early 2016. My research focuses on eighteenth century moral philosophy, especially in Germany and Scotland, and I have a particular interest in Kant, Francis Hutcheson, and Adam Smith. I'm also interested in contemporary moral, political, and legal philosophy, as well as the philosophy of food.
