Physicist, historian and philosopher of science. His general scientific interests focus on various aspects of the history and philosophy of science, such as: detailed mathematical considerations, methodology, philosophy of scientific discovery, relationships between science and humanistic culture (philosophy, theology and art) and technology.

He is the author of the university model of new humanism and the hypothetico-deductive method of correspondence thinking.

He deals with the issues of: Władysław Natanson, the thoughts of Thomas S. Kuhn, the genesis, essence and reception of Copernicus' achievements.
