In my research, I primarily analyse health policy-making and health systems organisation using deliberative democratic theory. I am particularly interested in: health equity and justice; public and expert debates on health policies; and challenges of evidence-based policy-making. For this purpose, I developed the three inputs of governance/deliberation framework – analysing intersection of emotions, self-interests and expertise in policy-making.
