I am a research fellow at the Chair of Philosophy & Political Theory, Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich. My work is funded by a German Research Foundation (DFG) individual grant.
Before joining Munich, originally as postdoctoral fellow, I was a temporary lecturer at the University of Aberdeen, a research assistant at the University of Warwick and a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Genoa. I have a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Warwick and I held visiting positions at Brown University and Tilburg University.
My research interests lie at the intersection of democratic theory and political epistemology. My current research agenda seeks to understand what role the epistemic conduct of democratic citizens may have in establishing or challenging the value of public decision-making practices such as voting, and the legitimacy of democracy more broadly.
