I teach logic at Rowan University. My obsession is the question of direct realism. My PhD thesis was a defense of direct realism. I am working on releasing it on amazon, both as verbatim original and as updated summary. In it, in 1975, I pioneered a form of disjunctivism, among other things. My only recent writing is "Could Daniel Dennett be a Zombie?", which is archived on this site. I hold that the mind is the brain, and therefore that it must be true necessarily that brains like ours have consciousness. So I am not a reductionist a la Dennett; rather I believe that the science of the brain must recognize the brain's ability to have states that are "about" -- indeed that allow the sensing of -- external objects.
