I am a permanent researcher at the Institute for Philosophical Research, UNAM. I hold a PhD in Philosophy from University College London (under the supervision of Veronique Munoz-Dardé and Mike Martin), an M. A. in Philosophy from Queen’s University, Canada (under the supervision of Will Kymlicka), and a BA in Philosophy from UNAM. In normative and theoretical ethics, I have focused on the merits and limits of contractualism and moral constructivism as methods of normative justification or as explanations of the origin of moral value.
