Morteza Hashemi received his PhD in sociology from The University of Warwick, and was a postdoctoral researcher at The University of Edinburgh's School of Social and Political Science. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in Sociology at the University of Nottingham. His research fields are philosophy of social sciences, social and political theory, post-secularism, science and technology studies, ethnicity and displacement.
