Recently I completed my MSc Finance Analytics at King's College London, where my primary learning focus was econometrics, computational methods, empirical analysis and mathematical applications. My main interests lie in analysing systemic risk, complexity and adversarial systems to find the underlying mechanisms within multi-agent networks. During my BSc Accounting and Finance at SOAS, University of London, I received First Class Honours for my overall grade and dissertation, which involved analysing failures within anti-money laundering frameworks and their inefficacy at preventing financial crime. To continue this interest, my masters dissertation examined differential responses to infrastructure vs regulatory events within cryptocurrency markets.
Since then I have become fascinated by various interdisciplinary applications of formal methods, which led me to begin exploring topics such as philosophy of science, political economy and metaethics, isomorphism within machine learning and cognitive science, regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies, and others.
This trajectory has developed into a broader research programme through Dissensus AI, where I lead the Adversarial Systems and Complexity Research Initiative (ASCRI) and a small research team. Over the past year I have authored over a dozen papers across computational finance, political economy, cognitive modelling and formal mathematics, with work currently under review at journals including Digital Finance and Computational Economics , AI and Ethics, Ethics and Information Technology, and Humanities and Social Sciences Communications.
On the applied side, I have built and maintain a live systemic risk index for cryptocurrency markets (ASRI) with a free researcher API, published open-source volatility modelling packages, and completed formal proofs in Lean 4 covering theorems across 14 of our papers. The research and its associated tools are openly available through farzulla.org, dissensus.ai and systems.ac.
I am currently looking for PhD positions with a start date between April and October 2026, primarily in areas such as complexity economics, computational social science, or AI alignment.
