Mustafa Yavuz

I am a biologist interested in the history and philosophy of the life sciences. I am a faculty member at Department of Philosophy, Istanbul Medeniyet University. I received BA degree from the Department of Biology Education, Atatürk Faculty of Education, Marmara University in 2001. I received my MA (2003) and PhD (2010) degrees from the Biology program of Marmara University. I also received second PhD (2022) degree from the Philosophy program of Istanbul Medeniyet University. I have authored articles in national and international journals on lichen taxonomy, ecology & biomonitoring; history of materia medica, history of botany and philosophy of biology.
