Naomi Kloosterboer is an independent researcher and founder of Radicaal Luisteren (Radical Listening). She was Postdoc at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam as part of the ERC–funded project Extreme Beliefs: The Ethics and Epistemology of Fundamentalism. Her research connects (feminist) epistemology, ethics, and moral psychology. Her current work focuses on practices of listening. What role can and should listening play in fostering democratic practices and diminishing polarization? She also works on issues concerning values, responsibility, and self-knowledge.
