Neely Patton is a philosopher, art historian, museologist, and writer. She is a third-year doctoral student at the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts (IDSVA) where she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Art Theory and Philosophy. Patton's research has centered on performance, art and the body, and digital technologies; her current scholarship and dissertation topic investigates the philosophy of Viennese Actionism. Patton serves as the Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD) in Denver, Colorado.
