I teach political theory at Fordham University. My overarching question is how to continue the legacy of the Enlightenment. Many of my papers consider how leading philosophers from different traditions (Anglo-American, Continental, Islamic) propose to do that. I am currently researching topics related to education, particularly whether democracies should have national education standards.
