My research focuses on Aesthetics, Environmental Aesthetics, and Value Theory, with particular emphasis on virtue aesthetics and ethics. I am currently developing the view that value theories which ignore the aesthetic dimension of experience—especially the aesthetic experience of natural environments—omit a constitutive source of normativity.
