I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Leyte Normal University, graduating cum laude in Social Studies (2019), and later receiving the best thesis award in Educational Management (2024).
My research interests generally cover posthuman bioethics, de-extinction ethics, climate ethics, death ethics, and educational ethics. I am also interested in political theory. These interests have been shaped by years of teaching, research, social observation, and open dialogue with mentors, colleagues, and students.
I have presented my research at national and international conferences. My major project explores the ethics of de-extinction, with secondary attention to the ethics of biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and climate technologies. I am a member of the Philosophical Association of the Visayas and Mindanao (PHAVISMINDA) and the Social Ethics Society (SES). My work aims to contribute to contemporary moral discourses surrounding both comforting and disturbing technologies and policies.
