Noell Birondo is Professor of Philosophy and chair of the department at the University of Texas at El Paso. He works primarily in moral philosophy and the history of ethics. His book The Moral Psychology of Hate was named a 2022 Outstanding Academic Title by CHOICE. His current work focuses on the influence of Western imperialism and its appeal to ethical naturalism on our conceptions of the virtues.
