Noriaki Okamoto is a Professor in the Department of Global Business at Rikkyo University. His research interests include social studies of accounting and finance, social ontology, ontology of money/profit, and philosophy of quantification. His recent interdisciplinary book Institutional Change and Performativity (Palgrave Macmillan) was published in 2024 (https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-031-53393-8). He was a visiting scholar at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in the Department of Accounting from 2022 to 2023.
