Olivia Ruhil

I am a scholar of law, technology, and governance, whose work examines the conditions under which technological systems acquire authority within legal and institutional life. My research lies at the intersection of legal theory, socio-technical systems, artificial intelligence, and public institutions, with particular attention to how emerging technologies alter practices of judgment, responsibility, and justice. I am interested in the conceptual and institutional questions that arise when computational systems cease merely to assist human decision-making and begin to participate in the production of legal and administrative knowledge.
