My research-to-date has focused on philosophically analyzing the cross-cultural applicability of national and international public policy, with a focus on social justice as it relates to community involvement and vulnerable populations. I have conducted this analysis in the areas of bioprospecting, human rights, and informed consent in medical research.
My current research focuses on what I see as the inescapable and important relationship between subjective dialogue and health and the need to expand the current list of the social determinants of health to include this, as well as the need to comprise a set of ethical conditions for guiding practitioners in attending to this important component of patient health.
