I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Loyola University Chicago, where I teach classes in Informed Consent in the Medical Context, Philosophy of Medicine, Healthcare Ethics, and Feminist Philosophy.

My research-to-date has focused on philosophically analyzing the cross-cultural applicability of national and international public policy, with a focus on social justice as it relates to community involvement and vulnerable populations. I have conducted this analysis in the areas of bioprospecting, human rights, and informed consent in medical research.
