Pamela Jouarie

Before coming to the University of Edinburgh, I went to La Sorbonne, Paris. I have two Master's degrees from La Sorbonne, one in American and English Literature from La Sorbonne-Nouvelle Paris 3 with honours (in 2007), and one in Contemporary Philosophy from La Sorbonne-Pantheon Paris 1 with honours (in 2007). I was then a full-time Egnlish teacher for a year before resuming my philosophical studies. I did an MSc in Mind Language and Embodied Cognition at the University of edinburgh (2010-2011). I am currently in my 2nd year of PhD. My supervisor for my first year was Matthew Nudds. I am currently being supervised by Tillmann Vierkant and Jane Suilin Lavelle. My topic is focused on the link between visual perception, intention and action.
