Paolo Pitari completed a joint PhD in English at the University of Venice and at LMU Munich. He is the author of The problem of Free Will in David Foster Wallace (forthcoming with Routledge) and of numerous academic articles in literature and philosophy. He was awarded research grants by the University of Venice, the JFK Institute of Freie Universität Berlin, and the DAAD. He is now enrolled in a PhD in Philosophy at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
