Adjunct Assistant Professor at Shaw University Divinity School, I was previously the Instructor of Philosophy at the University of South Carolina, Aiken. I received my PhD in Analytic Theology from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. My areas of research are, broadly construed, metaethics, Medieval philosophy, and contemporary Analytic Theology and Philosophy of Religion. Specifically, I have interests in the doctrine of sin, the topic of the fall and practical reasoning, the intersection of moral wrongdoing and sin, theories of evil, and Medieval thinkers such as Augustine and Anselm of Canterbury.
