Dr. Paul Carron is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Associate Director of the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core, where he has taught since 2011. His research focuses on moral psychology—the study of the emotional and psychological capacities that shape our moral lives. He is especially interested in the role of emotions in moral reasoning and character development, drawing on virtue ethics, existentialist philosophy (particularly Kierkegaard and Heidegger), and contemporary psychology.
