Dr. Paul Kidder's work is concentrated in the areas of metaphysics, ethics, and aesthetics. He specializes in the philosophy of Bernard Lonergan and has interdisciplinary interests in urban studies and international development. He received his doctorate from Boston College in 1987 and he joined the Seattle University Philosophy Department in 1989. Recently he has been focusing on the philosophy of architecture and themes in the work of political philosopher Eric Voegelin.
