I completed my Ph.D. in philosophy at Florida State University. While studying there, I was awarded a Templeton Graduate Cross-Training Fellowship to pursue empirical research in the form of a M.Sc. in cognitive and evolutionary anthropology at the University of Oxford.
My primary areas of specialization are ethics and and philosophy of science. My doctoral research offers a Neo-Aristotelian solution to evolutionary debunking arguments against moral realism. I'm interested in the metaphysics of goodness, virtue ethics, moral psychology, philosophy of biology, bioethics, and evolutionary anthropology.
