I am a social philosopher who uses multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary methodologies to engage society's complex aesthetic, moral, religious, and social problems. My goal is amelioration. My areas of specialization include aesthetics, ethics, history of philosophy, philosophy of religion, and religious studies. I also have a background in hermeneutics, the history of ideas, Holocaust Studies, and systematic theology. My pedagogy is experimental, existentially rooted, and transgressive (following bell hooks).
