I am professor in theoretical philosophy, especially history of philosophy, in Uppsala University, Sweden. I have worked extensively on Plotinus and Neoplatonism, and especially recently on Plato. Thematically I work on a wide rage of topics, but particularly on self, soul, self-knowledge, cognition, knowledge, inquiry, method, moral psychology, and ethics.
