My focus is on the philosophy of history. I'm studying international relations with a focus on the history of American policy toward the Middle East and North Africa. My interests include military and diplomatic history, democracy and Islam, and social media and civil society. I study the philosophy of history as an approach to aesthetics as well as international politics, and am working historicism in its implications for international relations and art history.
