Most of my work falls within the philosophy of mind, philosophy of psychology, and experimental psychology. My research topics include: cognitive theories of imagination and pretense, the nature and cognitive role of inner speech, the relation of abstract thought to language, explanations of hallucinations and delusions in schizophrenia, introspection, metacognition, and consciousness.
