I am a Germanist with graduate degrees in both history and philosophy concentrating primarily on Germany and German Studies. My history work is on the creation of the German State in the 19th century and the Holocaust.

My philosophy work is also German in scope covering Early Modern (Kant) through the German Idealists (Hegel, Schopenhauer, Marx) and Nietzsche. I have an interest in the Frankfurt School as a whole and the work of Martin Heidegger is also of great interest to me.
