I lecture on various topics in criminal justice, including jurisprudence, policing and human rights. In my research, I focus on issues in philosophy of law. I have published mainly on civil disobedience and political obligation, though I am interested, more broadly, in democratic theory, the philosophy of punishment and the ethics of voting.
