I am an early career researcher working on early Frankfurt School critical theory. My AHRC-funded thesis, completed recently at the University of Essex, offers a substantive reinterpretation of the claims and philosophical methodology of Adorno and Horkheimer's Dialectic of Enlightenment by accounting for its heterodox mode of presentation. I studied philosophy, politics and economics at Essex and York, and have lectured and published on critical theory and the critique of political economy.
