I am Dutch philosopher, since 1985 writing on the evolution of morality, evolutionary epistemology, and the philosophy of mind from an evolutionary perspective. As a Ph.D. student, I attended many meetings of the European Sociobiological Society, the Human Behavior and Evolution Society, and other interdisciplinary societies. Currently, I am working as a freelance teacher of philosophy. I am acquainted with the history of philosophy, continental philosophy, the philosophy of biology, the philosophy of mind, and ethics. I find it a challenge to integrate the key insights from all these disciplines within an evolutionary framework.
