I am a senior lecturer at the University of Auckland. Prior to this, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge (as a member of Tim Crane's Templeton Foundation project, 'New Directions in the Study of Mind'). I have also worked as a lecturer at the University of Otago, Lehigh University and the Open University. My primary research interests are in the philosophy of mind and cognitive science. I am also interested in aesthetics, metaphysics and philosophy of race.
