Rafael Gonzalez Del Solar

I am a Biologist (Universidad Nacional de Córdoba) and Doctor of Philosophy (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), with experience in field research on carnivore ecology and research in philosophy of science. My doctoral dissertation was "Mechanismic explanation in ecology". My main field of interest is the philosophy science, but I am also interested in other philosophical topics, especially those related to human nature and behavior. Since 2000 I also work as a freelance translator (mainly from English to Spanish) for books and research papers about philosophy, philosophy of science, ecology, and the popularization of scientific disciplines such as evolutionary biology, anthropology, and environmental science. Lately I have started to explore the fascinating field of literary translation.
