Raphael Kevin Nagal

Dr. Raphael Kevin I. Nagal, USRN, PHRN, LPT, is a nurse–educator, researcher, and curriculum developer graduated with highest distinction and as a DOST-scholar in PhD in Science Education (Biology), a Master of Arts in Education major in Physical Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Cum Laude). He is a licensed nurse in both the Philippines and the United States, a licensed professional teacher, and an experienced EFL/ESL instructor who has trained students for IELTS and TOEFL in both classroom and individualized settings. His multidisciplinary background spans nursing practice, psychiatric care, higher education instruction, public-school leadership, online pedagogy, and advanced statistical consulting. He is a certified author and editor of the National Library of the Philippines and has authored several books in Science, Nursing and English--some are published by Amazon. As an associate member of the highest governing research institute in the Philippines, National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP), he has authored peer-reviewed papers and patented inventions in science education, sexuality education, environmental studies, robotics and health research. His research interests include technology-enhanced learning, health behavior, curriculum development, nursing competence, and evidence-based educational innovation utilizing quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
