I'm a professor of philosophy at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I work on empirically informed philosophy of mind, and philosophy of cognitive science. I'm interested in the relations between language, cognition and perception, the nature of conscious thoughts and the role of inner speech and mental imagery in cognition.
