I primarily work in ethics and moral philosophy, and my dissertation is on well-being and assholes. Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about why some ways of expressing moral conflicts are more illuminating or insightful than others.
I also have interests in social and political philosophy, public philosophy, aesthetics, and philosophy of games and sports.
In my free time, I love science fiction, board games, screenwriting, art, jazz, and playing, watching, and coaching basketball.
