Roberto Andorno

I am a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Ethics of the University of Zurich, Switzerland. I am also Associate Professor of Bioethics and Law at the School of Law of the same University. I come originally from Argentina, where I did my law studies and completed a first doctoral degree in Law at the University of Buenos Aires (1990). In 1994 I obtained a second doctoral degree in law at the University of Paris (Université Paris-Est-Créteil) on the ethical and legal aspects of assisted reproductive technologies. From 1998 to 2005 I served as a member of the International Bioethics Committee (IBC) of UNESCO as representative of Argentina.
