I teach Philosophy of Science at La Sapienza University of Rome. I have been first associate professor and then full professor of Philosophy of science at the University of Salerno. My main research areas are the history of Cybernetics and the epistemological issues of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science. I have taken a particular interest in the problems of Cognitive Science and scientific method, such as cognitive simulation and the relation between computational theories and models.
