I am a molecular geneticist and evolutionary biologist with a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of São Paulo and postdoctoral training in Biochemistry. I served as Professor of Genetics and Human Evolution at the Institute of Biosciences, University of São Paulo (2017–2024).
