I work in metaphysics and philosophy of perception with a focus on realism, ontology, and the structure of relation. My research develops a non-reductionist form of realism according to which reality consists of irreducibly distinct beings that are genuinely present to one another in real relations without being exhausted by those relations or their manifestations. I am especially interested in questions concerning being, distinction, participation, and the limits of reductionist approaches in metaphysics and philosophy of science.
