I am a scientist that specializes in questions related to Evolutionary Ecology, a field that intersects Ecology and Evolution. I got a PhD in Biology long time ago (1993). However, my perennial interest in philosophy of science prompted me to get a Master in Philosophy, and after that, to continue my studies in a PhD Program in Philosophy. My PhD thesis consists in inquiring the conditions under which abductive statements translate into propositional knowledge in a realistic framework.
