I am a researcher and lecturer at Humboldt University Berlin and currently speaker of the DFG Priority Programme "Rethinking Disinformation" (Re:DIS). I work on the epistemology of disinformation (e.g. fake news, conspiracy theories, bullshit), on cancel culture and scientific freedom, but also on abilities, dispositions, and free will (my dissertation on abilities won the two major awards for works by young philosophers in Germany). I am strongly interested in the usefulness and the potential societal role of public philosophy and engage in public philosophy frequently. My personal website is www.romyjaster.de.
