Contemporary arguments showing the characteristics of a subjectivity conception from a historic-cultural perspectiveare presented, taking in account its conceptual transition from the personality psychology toward the social psychology,and its intersection with the sociology and the philosophy of the subject. The concepts of subjective sense andsubjective configuration as a sense qualification category are developed in the document and constitute the startingpoint for a reflection about the politic subjectivity and the ways to research it, considering the qualitative epistemology,which is based on the constructive interpretative nature of knowledge.

Resumen. Se presenta evidencia sobre la relación que existe entre el autoconcepto y el apoyo social percibido, se realizaron análisis de grupos entre las diferentes dimensiones de ambos constructos para analizar si existen diferencias por género en cada constructo. La muestra estuvo conformada por alumnos de una institución de nivel superior, con una media de 19.8 años de edad. Para medir el autoconcepto se utilizó AF5 y el cuestionario de Apoyo Social Percibido de Familia y Amigos . El análisis de los resultados demostró que existe una correlación entre apoyo social percibido y autoconcepto , lo que se confirma al dividir la muestra por género . Palabras claves. Analysis of groups between the different dimensions from both constructors was made to find out if differences by gender in each construct exist. The sample was composed by college students, with an age average of 19.8 years old. In order to measure self concept it was used AF5 and the questionnaire of Perceived Social Support of Family and Friends . The analysis of the results showed a correlation between perceived social support and self concept , this correlation was confirmed when dividing the sample by gender . Keywords.
