Rose is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Bergen, Norway. She works in philosophy of biology and feminist philosophy of science. Rose works on philosophical issues raised by practices in contemporary ecology and related fields, such as citizen science, open data, biological sex, ecological niches, animal tracking, individuality, individualised research, and research environments.
