Roxanne Burton, a Jamaican, is a Lecturer in Philosophy at The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados. She has taught a variety of courses at The UWI, Cave Hill, including Philosophy and Gender, Environmental Ethics, Biomedical Ethics, Philosophy of Sex and Love, Philosophy of Education, and Philosophy of Mind.

She has co-authored two edited texts with F. Ochieng’-Odhiambo and Ed Brandon, and has several published journal articles and book chapters.
