Samuel Fernando Faria da Silva

Interests centered on logic, theoretical foundations, artificial intelligence, and alignment. Affiliated with the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences at the University of São Paulo (FFLCH-USP), my work is guided by conceptual rigor, formal structure, and the relation between abstract theory and intelligent systems. I am particularly interested in reasoning, agency, memory, interpretability, and the problem of aligning advanced AI systems with robust epistemic and normative principles.
