I am an ethicist and scientist interested in ethical design of emerging digital technologies. I'm particularly interested in designing systems centered on our personal values in order to promote human autonomy, utilizing both conceptual and empirical investigations to bridge philosophical insights into practice. My areas of specialization include information ethics, AI ethics, bioethics, data privacy, value-sensitive design, and the psychology of decision-making.
