I am reading for a Masters in Musicology. My thesis centres on the inherent choral nature of Vaughan Williams' Tallis Fantasia, and discerning sympathetic performance practice through a semiosis of the idiomatic writing. Not overtly philosophical, but philosophy does rear its head sometimes.
